How we're funded

China Trips is an independent travel information site. We fund it through two sources:

• Affiliate links: when we link to a booking platform (such as Trip.com, Booking.com or other travel partners), the link may be an affiliate link. If you book through it, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
• Advertising: we may display ads (for example via Google Ads). Ads are clearly identifiable.

What this means for you

• Affiliate commissions never increase the price you pay.
• Commissions help keep the site free and the information current.
• We recommend what we believe is genuinely best for travelers, not whatever pays the most. Links are placed where they're useful, not because of commission size.

Editorial independence

Our content, recommendations and policy information are written independently. A booking or advertising partnership never determines what we write, and policy/visa information is never influenced by commercial interests.

Advertising

Where ads are shown, they are delivered by third-party ad networks (such as Google). Advertisers may use cookies to measure performance and target ads — see our Cookie Policy for details.
